Vast majority of nursing staff were caring, kind good humoured and proactive. A couple let the side down by audibly demonstrating disregard for patient welfare, during night shifts. Rathore and Charlotte

Night staff should respond to call bells - nursing staff did not came into our bay all evening, even when HCAs were unable to respond efficiently to queries and concerns.

Lack of communication.
Diagnosed with new symptoms 27th August, 111 and into Basildon A+E. Procedure at Romford. 26 day timeframe unfortunately heard nothing from Romford until day 23, had been given multiple inform dates between day 1 and day 23 to expect schedule but nothing heard. No communication until 3 days prior to surgery.
