My daughter had her first baby at Queens yesterday. She had everything planned and organised but at every turn it fell apart, as nature wasn’t on her side, and ended in an emergency c-section. For such a traumatic experience I can honestly say each and every midwife, nurse, doctor, anaesthetist etc that crossed her path in the labour ward went above and beyond for her, cared for her and showed her complete support and kindness throughout the entire experience. I am so proud of our NHS and will be forever grateful to those who helped my baby safely bring her baby in to this world ❤️ Thank you Labour Ward you are an amazing group of people
