I had a consultation today at Outpatients 3. The receptionist was courteous and efficient and directed me to a waiting area. I waited no more than 10 minutes then a nurse/practitioner collected me from the waiting area. I waited no more than 15 minutes before my consultation. My consultation occurred BEFORE my appointment time which was excellent. My consultation was conducted professionally and friendly and I didn't feel I was being rushed. All my questions were answered directly and I felt I was receiving great care. My monitoring will continue and the nurse / practitioner explained the next steps in the monitoring process. My experience is what I would like from NHS provision.
