The doctors & nurses were absolutely fantastic, kind & compassionate. They treated me with respect throughout my time in a&e.

There’s 2 things! 1) it is a total nightmare to get to ESDEC and Majors B from the triage department. Whilst there is signposting it is very misleading & insufficient. I was walking back & forth and had to get a member of nursing staff who had finished his shift to show me the way! Thanks to him. 2) I had bloods taken, then waited approx 2 hours for the results then I was sent for a CT scan! When the triage doctor had recommended both why wasn’t I sent for the scan whilst waiting for my blood results? Surely then both results would be received back approx same time and I wouldn’t have spent 10 hours in a&e? Your staff are excellent but your processes are fundamentally broken. This is why the hospitals are overrun with people and your staff are working harder not smarter???
