I spent 9 hours on a trolley at KGH in a cubicle and to be told I had cellulitis and needed To be seen by an orthopaedic Dr at Queens due to my hip replacement operation. I was transferred to Queens....spent 4 hrs on a trolley and they said that they had no idea I was being sent there.. I asked 6 times for pain relief and wasn't given any. No one came to see if everything was OK with my obs and considering I was supposed to have an infection....I think that is appalling. After 3 half hrs , my daughter rang hospital and complained . ..it was only then, a nurse came to see me and said she was sending for a Dr. Still no pain relief. I spent a total if 13 half hrs between both hospitals, moved onto umpteen different trollies and sat on 6 different commodes. I know the nhs are pushed to their limits and they do a splendid job ..but I had just had major surgery and actually find this unacceptable

Made sure I was ok. Listened to when I needed pain relief
