Having visited the hospital as a patient and with members of my family I have found the staff in all departments to be highly helpful.The colour coding of different departments is good plus help at the entrance.
I brought my step-son to the hospital following a head injury. The receptionist is quite unsympathetic, even verging on the hostile. We were greeted not with a greeting, but by the enquiry 'Name?'. All in all we had to wait over six hours for treatment, and at no time were we given any indication of when he would be seen to.
The A & E reception is filthy. Two notices on the wall were dated 2012, which may give some indication as to the last time the walls were cleaned.
