Waiting time amazing only 2 minutes until nurse called then 2 minutes until nurse practitioner called very thorough friendly and caring approach.I was made to feel of some value and had done everything in great detail and easy enough for me to understand. I went away feeling completely satisfied with the outcome.
Thank you so very much for everything you all do it is greatly appreciated.
C5 is one of the best wards my mother in law has been on. You can tell that the ward has good leadership. The teamwork is so apparent and consideration for each other is viable. I highly recommend this ward and would go as far to say they should be seen as an exemplar for others.
I could not have asked for more considerate or attentive staff on ward D8. There was a constant stream of staff attending to me, throughout my stay. Strangely, at my age, this was my very first hospital stay, but I was very quickly allowed to relax and let the care take over. The night staff in particular were very kind and considerate, needing to attend to my medications on a regular basis, without ever really disturbing my rest. I am so grateful to everyone who helped look after me.
There were a few niggles, but I would not want to take away from the excellent treatment I received by picking holes in things that were beyond their control.
I was seen by the consultant after the x-ray and he was very re-assuring about my injuries and my concern about the swelling.
The department was very busy but as anticipated I left within two hours
Spent a week in QA recently. Not a good experience. The right hand doesn't seem to know what the left hand is doing.Left mostly to help myself.Glad to be discharged after a week. Not enough discussion about patients by the professions. One day I was nil by mouth till after lunch only to be told no operation.
Pre-op and Post-op care was second to none.
A wonderful experience and, if needed again I would use Queen Alexandra Hospital Facilities again
I would like to express my appreciation on my recent knee replacement surgery. All of the Staff in my opinion were exemplary in their care and attention and cleanliness. They made my time in hospital stress free and do not think any improvements are necessary or needed at this present time. I thank them again for all their Care.
i entered your care on Friday the 13th of Sept, Each staff member greeted each other and their patients with a smile leading to a feeling of membership from the start.
Each ward in turn as beds were required followed the same routine until ward 8 when finally I settled for the next Three days. Here I discovered that everyone from the lowliest cleaner to the Doctor in charge would follow the same pattern.
well done: That attitude helped my recovery , Thank you very much for looking after me.

It felt like I was at home when I was away from home
This was my first experience of hospital since my Tonsils came out in 1940. Treated with the utmost respect and care from Ambulance arrival throughout my 4 + days stay.
I was amazed and delighted with the wide ethnic mix of staff both nursing and domestic which reminded me of my Naval days in the Far East.
I was particularly impressed with the team who provided me with regular hot drinks with a smile and always impeccably turned out.
Pity the voluntary trolley service does not operate over the weekend when I suspect the number of patients does not diminish.
