My comments on Dr Murphy included comments on the department of the hospital.
I have had poor experiences in the A & E Department at the PRH in the past but on this occasion the care I received was excellent
the nurses looking after me were good the only thing I found was that they kept saying I was next to go down for my op when infact I was last in line. I sat on my bed in the waiting area from 11:20 until 3 o'clock. I got more and more nervous and my blood pressure went up. I am 80yrs old.
one thing that could be improved is giving information to relatives out in the waiting room. My husband was left there for a very long time without any information. I was in recovery for a very long time, he was in the waiting room pulling his hair out fearing the worst. also I found it very unsettling not being taken straight to my bed after I had booked in. I was in the waiting room for about 2.5 hours. this needs to change apart from that all was good.
it was perfect I was there for 6 days everybody was nice and helpful and it was so clean. The best hospital I've been in and so caring. Have no complaints a tall if I have to go into a hospital again I would go to this one.
If there is such a thing I had an extemely pleasant Hospital Experience. From the reception staff, to the nurses and doctors, catering (SUPERB), to cleaners etc everyone was wonderful. The wards were clean, light and airy and all the facilities, such as shower room, were kept immaculately clean. Exceptional.
this is a some what unfair report as this was my final visit. However my earlier appointments were always carried out in a most professional manner.
impressed with the standard the hospital has Now reached (gynaecology outpatients.) Greatly appreciated!
