It was a slow process to get referred and allocated an initial appointment. 3-4 month wait. However, when attending, the staff were very supportive and sympathetic. After attending a CT Scan, my mother was not called back for its reading and did now know about it until she attended the Dr consultation many months later, (approx 6!) so it could have been a very worrying time for other people. At the Dr consultation, it was one of the best visits either of us had ever had at either a Dr, consultant or hospital appointment. He was brilliant.

I have today had an operation my consultant was Mrs Nagrani and her team form first signing in this morning and having a nurse that was very caring and understanding . I would like to thank Mrs Nagrani and the anaesthetist for taking the time to explain everything to me, for putting me on at my ease. The Theatre for the professional manner throughout and most of all the staff in the short stay unit I could not have asked for Better Care they were very attentive throughout the day and ensuring that I have everything I needed. I cannot thank them enough thank you all so much for all the care that you gave me today kw

Me and my partner were emergency transferred here to have our baby due to a complication, on arrival the woman on duty was a total bit*h and really unpolite and blunt to me, had a trainee midwife help deliver the baby who got let to help get the baby out and make a cut on my partners private area and cut her wrong causing her to have painful stitches and no feeling down below for a few days, my partner was left to sit in bloody gowns from 00:30am to 6:00 am when she was then allowed to shower,my baby was born in a sack of his own poo and water and when wiped over was not cleaned or bathed and left with poo and blood all over him for 2 days causing a infection on his umbilical cord and big blood clot patch on his head and poo in his ears and eyes, the nurses in the ward did not know we was there and no one came to check on the baby every 2 hours as we were told would happen due to his breathing, when a nurse realised we were there after 3 hours I was asked to leave the ward and my partner and baby, Loads more to go on about but haven't got the time to do so Really bad hospital would never ever recommended to anyone and a really shit service from everyone there Never ever again will we be attending bridgend stay well clear everyone

I would like to inform the relevant people publicly of the first class care i was given at the maternity section of the Princess of Wales hospital in Bridgend. My experience was the delivery of my first child on 8.12.2015, which wasn't an easy delivery, infant the duration was 30 hours. From the start right through to my sons delivery the professional care I was given from the student midwifes, nursery nurses, midwifes, doctors, anesthetist to the consultant was second to none. I would like to show my appreciation of the care I was given from Dr Chisholme and his magnificent team.

I was taken by ambulance to A&E yesterday morning with chest pain. The paramedics arrived promptly, and were kind and courteous. The care I received at the hospital was excellent - the A&E department was very busy (nine ambulances queued waiting to bring people in at one point), but I cannot fault the staff and their attention to detail. Special thanks to Grant Williams, Advanced Nurse Practitioner, who was exceptional and made me feel at ease.

Do not come here unless you simply want results of a test (no treatment) or you just really enjoy late night television, solitude, and uncomfortable chairs. I arrived around 12:40am with a hurt ankle. I was quickly processed and given Paracetamol, and received an X-ray by 1:15am. However, from then until 4:30am I waited in a secondary waiting room. I was not once offered more painkillers again, even after I made it clear that I was in a great deal of pain. I went to a desk twice to make sure I was waiting in the right place and to ask for more Paracetamol or some other pain reducer. When I was finally invited in to see a doctor (three other patients had passed through the waiting room I was in during this time, one of whom also had a hurt ankle), he told me that I should get an X-ray. In those three+ hours, nobody had even looked at my chart. His incredibly helpful advice was "walk on it," and he didn't even give me a crutch so that I could manage it while still attending classes. Do not come here. As a foreigner from a country without something like the NHS, it is literally better to just pay for an emergency room visit if you at least get something from it.
