Peterborough City Hospital deserves fullsome praise for the care and efficiency of all staff at all levels that I have met during my ongoing treatment for Metastatic Prostate Cancer with MSCC. I always felt safe in their hands and the treatment offered to me has been absolutely successful and has given me many unexpected extra years of life in comfort and reassurance.
Dr Papakostidi deserves special mention for her ongoing care since my diagnosis four years ago.
All the nursing staff in the CCU and Oncology wards have been so positive, cheerful and motivated. Every one is a gem. All credit to the senior management who have achieved this success with their staff in very difficult circumstances (Covid, staff shortages, etc)
A stunningly good hospital and the icing on the cake is the excellent large reserved car park for Blue Badge holders.
All in all, a wonderful experience.
