I arrived at Perth Royal A&E with a high risk injury, was called into triage in 20 minutes, was seen by an Advanced Nurse Practitioner within another 20 minutes, sent to x-ray and treated amazingly well and with genuine concern. Following paper stitches and a tetanus I was allowed to go home in a total of 1 hour and 20 minutes. I cannot thank the A&E staff enough for their care and efficiency. My previous visit to Forth Valley Royal A&E resulted in a 9 hour wait to then be told there would be a further 17 hour wait. Well done Tayside!!
