Great staff and care. Felt very reassured. I did however feel I needed instructions written down on paper as I was a little confused after my operation about aftercare etc. It would have been helpful to have more comprehensive instructions or leaflets covering any advice.

The staff were brilliant at making sure I was comfortable. They put me at ease for the whole time I stayed there. They listened to my worries and helped me massively with my fears of the procedure. They made the whole experience great. Especially nurse Ele K she made me feel so relaxed about the surgery and really made the process enjoyable.

I’ve visited this hospital a lot recently, unfortunately due to ongoing health issues. All the staff are amazing, very personable and professional. The consultants are very thorough and knowledgeable, nurses are so caring and friendly and all the support staff very good too making it a well run hospital.

In June 2022 at my pre-op appointment the nurse who attended me had a serious cold and cough and was stifling sneezes all the time whilst doing the checks - which I then caught putting my operation at risk. Therefore, I strongly suggest that the hospital checks the health of their staff before they work with patients.

Parkside is a wonderful hospital, the nurses are fabulous, the radiographers are brilliant and the consultants are the BEST.

All of the staff I came into contact with during my stay at Parkside and at outpatient appointments were friendly and considerate. The nursing staff were very helpful when I needed support with some post-op issues, especially as it was over the long bank holiday weekend. My room was clean and comfortable and the food was fabulous, as were the lovely catering staff. I would have no hesitation in returning to Parkside if I need further treatment.

The Parkside Hospital provides a very good experience for an in patient once you have admitted. Unfortunately the accounts department in my experience does not communicate well with the admissions department which can cause unnecessary stress before an operation .
