I found the hospital very welcoming on arrival at my room pre-surgery and kept well informed of my treatment and schedule. The pre and post surgery general anaesthesia were excellently conducted in very polite and comforting way. On return to my room after surgery the nursing staff provided very caring support and having not eaten for almost 12 hours the meal provided was delicious! I was able to leave same day and was provided with comprehensive post operation advice and appropriate medications. The only slight criticism I have regarded lack of communication about my discharge between surgeon and nursing staff who believed I was to stay overnight!
