My nana has had an issue with her hands. Her fingers have locked so she basically cannot straighten them. It happened years ago and was carpal tunnel syndrome and got sorted. Now they’re saying it is something else and when I was home in the summer I took her for a consultation. She has COPD but is still fairly healthy for her age, but she obviously requires help as she is 88 years old. In the summer the doctor told her he would put her through soon to have the issue solved. When it came to that day she got to the hospital and they told her he wasn’t there, he’d had to return to India. No call, she physically got there. Since that day she has had numerous consultations again, going through the same procedures and saying the same things to different doctors. And every time she has been cancelled on. The latest happened today and once again she got to the hospital for them to say the person doing the scan for her hand was not in! She is 88 years old!!! How can you be this unprofessional? Not only has she now been waiting nearly 5 months for something to be done and having no use of her hands, she’s been cancelled on every single time and he no warning. I am beyond angry with your treatment. And this has really affected my nanna’s confidence. You should be ashamed.
