All went to plan, I was made welcome and looked after.
I attended the hospital as a private patient and the whole experience felt calm, well organised and efficiently arranged. The staff were all helpful and courteous.
The care and treatment was oustanding
excellent
The service i received during my stay within the hospital was fantastic too. The nurses were fantastic especially the nurse who i saw when i arrived, she was excellent. ( I cant remember her name unfortunately.) It was the morning of 09/08/2021. This nurse settled me in and made me feel very welcome. She answered any questions I had and made me feel at ease. She also knew about the specific after care in relation to a tonsillectomy which helped. If it would be possible to ensure she received acknowledgement for her excellence service that would be highly appreciated. She was a credit to all the staff and the hospital itself.
I went in as an outpatient and found the whole procedure was really excellent. We are in troubled times with Covid but I didn't feel uncomfortable at all.

From the time I checked in at 0730 Friday morning until I left the hospital on Saturday evening I was treated very well indeed. The receptionist was warm and friendly and the nurse who came to take me to my room was also warm and friendly. During my short stay the nurses were very thoughtful, caring and considerate. The chef cooked me a special meal to accommodate my condition. The whole team that attended to me and my care were obviously very well trained. But further to that, it was obvious they were all people who cared. And they showed it. Most important I believe.
I will certainly recommend the Nuffield Hospital in Shrewsbury. I take this opportunity to personally thank all the nurses and staff. Thank you all. Wonderful.
Sincerely. Capt. Adrian Goldsbrough.
Clean and light hospital, friendly staff who took the time to explain everything.
