I had a inguinal hernia,Dr Praminthra Chitsabesan was brilliant, went through everything , explained it thoroughly , made it very easy to make a decision , the care at Nuffield York was superb ,

Excellent care before, during and after surgery. Every member of staff introduced them self and treated me with respect. There was attention to hand washing. My surgeon Mr Chitsebesan took time to fully explain the procedure and I felt very reassured. The nurse who discharged me after an overnight stay gave me comprehensive written instructions and ensured I understood. Food was presented beautifully. Well done everyone.

Absolutely fantastic team at Nuffield from friendly receptionists to the staff who offer you cups of tea to the wonderful ward team who very much looked after me very well.
Physio after surgery care was fantastic and the theatre team were absolutely amazing.
I felt 100% safe, welcomed and trusted all staff I encountered. They made a daunting process nearly enjoyable!

the hospital and its staff are of a very quality. The level of care from the staff was very professional, friendly, considerate and provided a high level of confidence. The hospital is very clean and I would recommend it to family and friends
