I underwent a wide spinal decompression and spinal fusion S1 to L4 in July 2019. Whilst being treated as an NHS patient at the Nuffield (my Surgeon was excellent). My care via the Nuffiled nursing and auxiliary staff left a lot to be desired. Not only did they confuse me with another patient - I was discharged from the Hospital with another patients Prescription and medication!
This is a breach of data protection and could have been potentially dangerous - had I not known what medication I should have been taking. A carer may not have been so informed or indeed vidgulant.
