Andrew Boote from the physio department looked after me and help with pain management pre spine surgery i sent him the below note....
I hope to see you in my rehab? But if not I’d like to say it was a real genuine pleasure meeting you, your a credit to your profession, you put me at ease ( it’s not often I look forward to someone sticking a load of needles in me!) i found it really easy and interesting to talk to you. I hope you go far in whatever you do.

Nuffield is a lovely hospital with such caring staff from the receptionist at the entrance to the staff on the wards. I was made to feel at ease as soon as I arrived to the moment I left. Nothing is too much and the care is outstanding.

The staff were polite and welcoming and directed me to where I needed to go. The atmosphere was professional and calm.

A truly wonderful service from start to finish, with attentive staff and a great ethic. They even managed to make the anaesthesis a pleasure, which, bearing in mind my fear of cannulas, can be tough.

From the minute I arrived I was made to feel welcome. Each member of staff I encountered was absolutely fantastic, they can’t do enough for you. Nothing is too much trouble, the level of care and attention I received was brilliant, I can’t fault a single thing during my time there. I was checked on frequently to see if I needed anything. After my operation I was fed and made several lovely cups of tea.
I cannot recommend Nuffield highly enough
