I was here for spinal surgery under Mr Al Mafoudh. Cross referred via NHS. At no time did I receive any less excellent care than if I had been an insured or self funding patient, and I have been both in the past. This was my 15th general anaesthetic operation, so I have quite a lot of experience of hospitals. The nursing staff were all excellent Brian, Mark and Keidi. The lady from catering whose name I didn't catch was also lovely. My anaesthetist Mr Waldon was very good and listened to my experience of collapsed veins and did not try to persuade me unlike previous ones who thought they had more experience of MY hand than they did! Pre and post checks carried out with friendly staff Jenny and Claire. I will report on surgeon separately when it has all settled down, but I have no reason to think it will be anything but the best possible outcome. A 5* review I am sure.
