My experience, from the time I was conveyed from A&E at QMC to Papplewick Ward with a suspected heart attack, to my discharge a week later, was excellent. I was treated at all times by all the staff who cared for me with respect, professionalism and friendliness. Not having much experience of hospitalisation, luckily, I felt particularly vulnerable but was put at ease almost immediately. Everything was explained and when I needed a bit extra support it was given willingly. I have nothing but praise for all the staff and departments involved in my care.
