1. My friends mostly live in the west of Sheffield, so the lost star is just because getting to and from NGH is less easy from that part of Sheffield. 2. The "timely information" - perhaps I am expecting too much. My operation was rearranged twice - from 26 January to 24 February and then to 28 February. In respect of the first rearrange I only found out by receiving an appointment to see the surgeon on 28 January - and the stoma nurse I saw at NGH the previous week also still thought the op was on 26th. I should emphasise that she was very informative and helpful. I think there is also an issue with the interface between NGH and Weston Park where delay and uncertainty seems to be the norm. 3. I was very well looked after in Chesterman 3 ward whilst I was in NGH. The staff were obviously hardworked but they always made time for all of us.
