This area is well staffed so therefore there is ample staff to take care of the patients. Well stocked, staffed so they were not stressed.

cardiology firth 7 and firth2 where i had blood clot removed both fantastic staff and clean wards... BUT brierly wards respirity so bad staff dont give a dam quite a few lie night staff tried to give me wrong medication as they had someone elses drug card the side room i was in wast cleaned once in the 5 days i was in there and they wouldnt change the sheets evan though they were soiled and often got missed at meal times as room was down a side corridoor

I spent the day in Theatre Admissions Unit recently being treated by Mr Gibson. Prior to this I was seen in Theatre Admissions who were excellent in their pre operative assessment. The new unit is quick and efficient with little time to wait in the excellent waiting room which is comfortable and well equipped. Someone had even had even thought to put subtitling on for deaf people. The TAU where I spent the day was also well equipped and the staff were excellent and very caring from being greeted by the receptionist through nursing and Drs. I can honestly say that the Drs in surgery were some of the best I have encountered and took great care to ensure that I was well cared for. If every department is as good as this one then the hospital has improved exponentially over the years. Thank you to all the staff on this visit.

From arrival to leaving I was pleased with the care from all members of staff at the NGH, always caring, always pleasant and happy to care for ones needs.
