1) I do not.."identify with ..." I am Female! 2) As an Outpatient - the toilets were not clean - paper on the floor etc. 3) The Information/Reception desk at the amin entrance had no infrmation re. public transport - i.e. could not tell me where a certain bus stop was located. Given the chaos that is the parking situation at the North Midd. many people need information re. buses and this should be provided at the INFORMATION desk.

My 87 year old barrister mother, with bad fungating breast cancer and dementia, normally kicks and screams, when she is touched, but with the care, compassion and consideration shown by all, from the initial Point of Contact, Susannah in the Breast Cancer Clinic, right down to the two, heavily pregnant nurses in the Sir Tom Moore, Centenary [day surgery discharge] Ward, my mother was as quiet as a mouse and so happy now, free of breast cancer, including in the lymph nodes!

Appealing treatment from supporting staff - undignified, made to wait outside in the cold instead of being allowed on their coffee shop while waiting for my son who was in a and e. Appalling staff and antiquated rules. 1 parent per child is still in use although the covid rules have been relaxed in the UK. Denotes poor management of the hospital and utterly despicable, unsympathetic staff with lack of empathy. Avoid at all costs

My father Mario Azzoni (hospital number: 546431) has had three sets of BCG treatment (6 sessions, 6 sessions and 3 sessions) since December 2020 as treatment for his high grade bladder cancer, all administered by Kay in the Urology department. We’d like to put it on record that Kay has been absolutely fantastic in her professionalism, dedication and compassion. She has been of enormous help to me as a actual person (rather than dry letter) who is a constant point of reference providing me with invaluable and ongoing information regarding my father’s treatment. My father is 87 years old and is also the primary carer for my mother who is 89 and has advanced Alzheimer’s. He was diagnosed with bladder cancer in September 2020 and has also recently been diagnosed with Parkinson’s; so having someone as empathetic, friendly and caring as Kay administer the BCG treatment (which is obviously delicate procedure) is absolutely vital for his state of mind as well as his physical welfare. Any anxiety he could have is completely dispelled by her kindness and expertise. She obviously care for his wellbeing, always puts him at ease and subsequently he has a great deal of fondness for her. Having worked as a senior manager all of my life I completely understand the critical value and vital importance of having people like Kay even more so I’m sure in a medical environment. It is clear to me that she always gives more than is expected of her and puts the patient (in this case my father) at the very epicentre of everything. It goes without saying that the global pandemic has made the medical environment, that you all work in, infinitesimally more challenging but it is my opinion that you are only able to still achieve such great success because of employees like Kay. We value enormously the fantastic help and support she has given my father (and by extension my family) and would appreciate you passing this praise onto her.

Nurses from post surgery Mary sea cole are the worst. They don't treat you with respect. They will laugh at you, they will shout at you, swear at you, won't feed you, won't give you pain meds, won't call the doctor when you need one, pior or not to the surgery. These nursers ALL should be fired, they treated everyone in the ward like animals! Gynecologist doctor named Mr Fokakunde, misdiagnosed me, never would listen to what I had to ask, never explained anything. (Worst gynecologist ever, if you can, avoid him!!!) Urology team are the best though! Go for Mr Almpanis and the nurse from urology named Kim. They will take good care of you.

I have been attending the Radiotherapy Unit, Monday to Friday, since 1st April. Absolutely everyone, from the reception staff to the Radiologists, have been amazing. They are all so friendly and I have been treated with the utmost respect and dignity. What I envisaged would be quite an ordeal, has actually been a breeze, and I'm sure that's down to the Radiotherapy team. I cannot praise or thank them enough.
