Overall Ninewells is great. However, in regard to the Oncology Department in particular - it did not tell patients that there was a question mark over the lower chemotherapy dosage being prescribed from Dec 2016 which continued to be prescribed while it was flagged up and was being investigated..... Info from local newspaper(Telegraph 5/5/19). I don't know who was individually or collectively responsible for this decision so I wouldn't like to hastily rate the staff but would give the pharmacists 10/10 for their concern and own high professional standards. So as trusting as you may wish to be, I would constructively advise to get a second opinion and see what is normal in other Trust areas. A cursory google search today indicated the lower dose was recommended for specific individuals only!
