I feel good about seeing to my stoma, what I did want was a professional examination and know that I have someone to turn to if I need it.

The lady was a five star nurse , very caring and helpful! She listened while I explained my complex medical history and didn’t make me feel rushed or a burden , very kind!

Suggested improvements
Had great difficulty finding the rooms where the nurse was, due to poor signing and the letter being vague so was a few minutes late. No one I asked seemed to know where it was either even though I asked at four different locations in the hospital!

The appointment was made very quickly and excellent directions forwarded that enabled a trouble free journey to the clinic. I was pleased to find that there is adequate parking available including a number of disabled bays. The appointment time was kept and staff were courteous and respectful towards me. The nurse; Andrew, was very informative and helpful in dealing with my issue and provided me with options that I can now try and hopefully improve my situation. He also provided additional guidance on the types of stoma pouch available and and the pros and cons of the various pouches. He also advised about the "simple steps" and provided supportive booklets. Overall I came away feeling that I know that should I need help and support in the future I would have confidence in contacting the fittleworth team.

I was very pleased with all aspects of my care This was not a wasted trip and it was good to meet the Staff who are at the end of a phone Signage was clear to find NAMS but parking limited
