I had really good care having had a spinal operation under Miss Collins. The only recommendation I would make is that the spinal unit could have more beds available for the consultants to treat the patients and not have to cancel operations because of the shortage of beds.

This is very good Hospital, but there is a urgent need for more nurses, especially in A&E as waiting times are in excess of 18 Hrs. Parking is very poorly designed and you need to turn up to an appointment at least 2hrs early to get a parking space.

My review is for Neath, Port Talbot Hospital where I had my knee surgery. I cannot fault the place - spotlessly clean, fantastic staff and even delicious food.

Following a heart attack, I was 'blue-lighted' to Morriston Hospital. From the outset, I was treated with respect, empathy and care, and the professionalism that I experienced from every person involved in my illness and recovery, was exemplary. From the Cleaners, who kept the wards spotlessly clean, to the Porters, who were cheery and encouraging, to the Auxiliary Nurses, the Trainee Nurses, the Nurses, the Staff Nurse and the Sister, all of whom worked with total dedication and care. They clearly take pride in their work and understand how difficult, scary and stressful it can be for both patients and family, when entering the hospital environment. I can't forget about the Paramedics either. Those two ladies were also amazing in their care and professionalism. If we are to believe that the NHS is at breaking-point, this was not evident from my experience. I was in hospital for ten days, and every one of those I saw the same high-level of consistent care and support. Well Done Morriston. We are proud to call you our local hospital.

I am very appuled by the whole experience at Morriston hospital my father was a renul patient hear receiving dyalis Monday, Wednesday and Friday in his 11years hear they have caused 3 serious incerdents in near loss of life and on the 4th incerdent which could of be prevented as they were aware of it actually took his life at the age of 57 the complaints procedure is a total joke as they do not answer letters, email or phone calls when you do finally get some one to listen to you they say there going to help but never get back to you until its to late and you get an email saying sorry for your loss they can't get medication right cleanliness is disgusting and the lack of care from doctors is disgusting the junior doctor are full of them self's and the senior nurses in dark blue are rude and abrupt they are having the hospital extended and modernised but I don't think they cant deal with what they have got and modernising the filth and bad staffing and attitude is not going to help the patients I have nothing good to say about the renal, dyalis and cardigan ward at all they are total failure in staffing and hygine and need looking into as soon as possible for the patients safety.

I was sent home after a stay Prince Philip Hospital in Llanelli with a GTN spray and told I had angina. A week or so later in the middle of the night I was blue lighted to the Coronary Care Unit at Morriston Hospital in Swansea having difficulty breathing and was told I’d had a heart attack and was also diagnosed with Pericarditis. I had an angiogram and a blocked right ventricle had a stent fitted. The care I received under Dr B Dicken and the team of both doctors and nurses during my stay was exemplary. Everything was explained in detail and nothing was to much trouble. The whole team including the cleaners whose hard work kept the ward spotlessly clean and those serving the excellent food, and the porters were friendly, helpful and professional.
