I was sent home after a stay Prince Philip Hospital in Llanelli with a GTN spray and told I had angina. A week or so later in the middle of the night I was blue lighted to the Coronary Care Unit at Morriston Hospital in Swansea having difficulty breathing and was told I’d had a heart attack and was also diagnosed with Pericarditis. I had an angiogram and a blocked right ventricle had a stent fitted. The care I received under Dr B Dicken and the team of both doctors and nurses during my stay was exemplary. Everything was explained in detail and nothing was to much trouble. The whole team including the cleaners whose hard work kept the ward spotlessly clean and those serving the excellent food, and the porters were friendly, helpful and professional.
