I've been in hospital twice now at Medway Maritime in the past 18 months, once overnight for a procedure on my abdomen, and more recently last October I was kept in for tests relating to my heart.
On each occasion I can honestly say that I had the highest regard for all who were involved in my care, before, during and after the procedures, from the doctors & nurses to the auxiliary staff bringing meals etc.
I give my heartfelt thanks to each and every one of them !!
I had knee surgery in February 2020 and my care and treatment in this hospital were absolutely excellent! All my dealing with this hospital have been efficient and positive. I have no hesitation in giving them well deserved praise.
I was treated here in 2016 for a left hip total replacement and the operation was carried out by Mr R Jain. Everyone was wonderful and my care was excellent. I cannot thank everyone concerned enough. Thank You.
I recieved excellent care and felt very happy
With special care from a beautiful caring nurse called Karen
On McCulloch ward
The staff on the ward were fantastic they were caring and friendly and nothing was to much trouble.
The care I got once admitted was 2nd to none, but the fact that I had been taken to
A &E on two occasions in one week with symptoms of heart attack and on the first occasion was sent home after an 11 hour wait in A&E and told everything ok, on the second visit 6 days later a 7 hour wait before confirmation I was having heart attack and a further wait of 6 hours to get me a bed, I could cry for the staff who do THIER best in an impossible situation,
My husband had shoulder surgery yesterday with Prof Singh. We arrived at the POCU (Pre op care unit) and I have to say how amazing everything and everybody was there. The whole thing operated from the POCU and even as just the patients partner I felt looked after. The level of care was fantastic and it was super clean. Cannot thank everybody there enough. They are doing a grand job.
In 2016 I was a patient in Medway Maritime for a LHTR and Mr R. Jain was my consultant. My treatment was brilliant and again, Mr Jain was wonderful. The nursing staff were excellent and I have no complaints whatsoever. Thank You to all who helped me back then.
Brilliant care lovely staff went out there way to make me feel safe and comfortable
I was under the Breast Care Clinic. The staff are second to none, a special mention and thanks to Mr El Gammal and Cathie Cooper. The resources, as is usually the case, are limited, the staff are over worked and desperately need more staff to cope with the ever increasing number of patients, having said that the level of care you are given is 100%. The dedicated staff need help desperately, the unit is too small for the volume of patients. The NHS can only work to the standards they currently have which at the moment are limited.
