my husband was admitted for liver surgery 18 months ago we attended surgery school which was a lie from start to finish do not believe a word you are told if you go He was in hdu for 48 hours then transferred to ward 11 never again not one member of staff informed me that he had been rushed back to theatre and when i went to visit i was shocked to see him in that state The staff had no care in them they more bothered they were going to be off duty late He was given a chicken dinner to eat 3 days post op which he could not eat and that was still on his bed side table 5 days later when i was that disgusted i took him home As a retired nurse i was disgusted this is the state of nursing today
