Yesterday, Monday 30th August, I sought assistance at the Malton Hospital because of a painful condition affecting my foot. The treatment and care I received in a meticulously clean environment was excellent and I cannot speak highly enough of the staff who dealt with me personally: the courteous and efficient receptionist, and the medical practitioner (I forget his name but he lived in Helmsley), who gave me a thorough examination whilst exuding a calm professionalism that was most reassuring.
