I found the staff at the L & D Hospital most friendly and helpful, in all departments on all of my visits. I only had one visit which was for for my implant change operation which was difficult due to no heating in the hospital and maximum pressure on the staff making it necessary for me to leave straight from the recovery ward as soon as I had come round. The nurses kept bringing me warm blankets to help keep me warm.

Every single person involved in my care has treated me with the upmost respect. The care from the breast screening unit - nurses in the recovery suite and on wards 3 and 21 was amazing. The staff we kind and responsive and treated me with respect. They work incredibly hard and with busy departments and a huge work load. I feel very grateful to all the staff and over the last 6 weeks have been seen by many professionals. The hospital at home team were equally outstanding, friendly and supportive. I feel very lucky that my local hospital is so good and I trust them with My ongoing care.

My care whilst at Luton & Dunstable Hospital was fantastic. I was very well cared for. If there was any complaints at all it would only be issues to do with parking.

My husband(he died (22-11-2017)had been treated at the hospital since December 2000 with several major complaints so we had visited many department saw different doctors and staff ,I have been going to the hospital since April2008 with different complaints and both of us have had to stay in the hospital for a number of days and the doctors and staff have all done their best for us .. Just one thing is the waiting for appointment and waiting to see the doctor to us out side the system it seems an age but I am sure thy are doing their best

I can't fault the hospital or the care from the nurses that I received. The nurses were lovely and the hospital it's self was clean. The only thing i think needs improving is on is the parking but unfortunately all hospitals are the same.. The doctors and nurses need to be truly recognised for all the extreme hard work that and care that they do and the long hours that they all put in.

Appointments are kept more or less to time, give or take approximately 10 minutes, unless there has been an unforeseen emergency. All the staff I have had dealing with have been efficient, polite and caring.

I was referred to L&D as I had stomach pains for a period of time. After tests and consultations I had an operation to remove gall bladder and lump in stomach. Mr Jambulingam and his team were exceptional throughout. I was kept fully informed at all times prior to the operation, at the time of the operation and afterwards. I must also give a big thank you to the GI specialist nurses on the team who offered every assistance and guidance throughout. Heather Simpson and Wendy Shearsmith were magnificent. I had various tests and consultation in the run up to the operation and all areas were excellent. Endoscopy, CT scan, Blood Tests.
