Admin registration is efficient. Most of the staff are helpful. Unfortunately the urology department has serious problems

A very good hospital. The staff were good and treatment was fine. The only downside I had was I had a very bad throat and felt it could have been properly recognised and treated sooner than it was to aid my general recovery after having a total hip replacement.

Booked an appointment for 14:30 which the hospital put down for 14:00 Ultimately ended up making an hour+ trip with a broken leg to eventually not get treated. Would not recommend.

Sometimes you need to think about what the staff are going through when they are working. No breaks, no time to go to the toillet and exhausted and the patients calling the Nurse for her to put on some tv channel or some other silly things. You don't know what is like to have pressure to do everything at the same time and it doesn't matter if you have time to see the patients properly just as long as you do everything on time. Even if you are starving and have lunch at 5pm. And then there are patients who have sisters in their rooms that only know how to complaint about everything and keeps calling the bell for everything with no respect for the nurses or any staff because they think staff are machines and not human beings. Sister, if you have so many complaints about the staff why don't you go find another ward??? Or another hospital? Because no nurse now wants to look after your sister and you know why??? Not because of the patient, because she is a patient that deserves to have all the good care nurses can give! Because of mad sisters that stay there not to look after her but to torment all the people who are trying to do their work properly!!! If you don't like just leave PLEASE!!! And THANK YOU!!!

As a patient sister who has cancer continously being told your going to die whats the point of treating you in so many words was not the right experience in this hospital. We the family pushed for drugs for a blocked bowel which we was told would never open as it she was full of cancer and to their shock i started clearing out she was told not to get too optamisitc it was just partial clearance but later xrays told a different story. Continous negativity and negligence from staff continues upto the point where she has outlived the five days they gave her into 100 days now in ICU and her room with her religious artifacts and her personal belongings they wanted to give to a day patient as they were over booked profit before patient care family had to argue to keep her room as a healing patrern going for her Not good at all unauthorised consultants walking i to her room to treat her than she is told it was wrong patient and room all sorts of mishaps happening here nirses forgetting to give routine medication on time. Hdu department run by all agency staff who were falling asleep whilst on duty also giving oral medicine to her whilst she was nil by mouth they stated they were over worked and tired hence mistakes were being made. The story continues.

Considering hospital wasn’t the place I wanted to be, the staff were engaged, informed and helpful. The food was well presented and again the caterers very polite. It was clean the nurses caring and that significantly helped my recovery
