Initially referred my daughter as she was struggling. Following her counseling , she said I'd benefit. I started open minded thinking I'm strong enough to deal with it myself. Ruth guided me and made me realise that I matter too and I deserve to be happy. Brought a whole lot of feelings and emotions out that I needed to let go. Also it's definitely helped me cope with my losses.
Suggested improvements
Nothing ! One comment I was hesitant 'over the phone' wouldn't work for me, however I think it was better as I may have held back face to face. Maybe offer more? Thank you Ruth

The counselling sessions with Olivia, who was brilliant, brought out hidden feelings and on completion made me better equipped to deal with loss.

I thought I might get more help with how to deal with my bereavement not just talk through it all again.

My earlier experience with the LIndEn center to get counseling set up was upsetting but I felt with Annes help the outcome deserves a 'very good'.
Suggested improvements
Ensure you are speak to the right person when about to offer counseling rather than them getting the offer from a third party.

From my first meeting with Anne I felt comfortable to open my heart to her. Feelings I kept to myself as not to upset my family I now can talk about my darling husband without a lump in my throat and tears, thank you Anne and Linden centre/trinity hospice please tell Anne I had a wonderful time in scarborough with my daugher. Lots of laughs and good memories.
