It was wonderful talking to Lorna about my mum she understood my specific needs and adapted and communicated accordingly. I felt seen, understood and cared for.

Suggested improvements
Nothing - it was perfect thanks!

Gill was so welcoming every sessions and make relaed and at ease from the moment the session stoned. I never fell judged or like she was not listening. The worksheet she gave me with techniques were all really helpful too. Counselling was not what I expected at first but I found it really beneficial in the end and looked forward to my sessions.

Suggested improvements
Not about the 'care' specifcally it would be useful though to have a direct contact number for the LC. I was stuck in traffic me morning and could not get hold of anyone at reception to them o through to the LC. I was concious that I did not was not them to think I would just missed my appointment. I also found the assessment at the start and end was not. overally accurate. I felt like it did not reflect how felt compared to pre-counselling but more how I would felt in the last few weeks which constantly changed. If my concerns and worries had been specifically noted at the start then discussed/compared it may have been clearer as to the outcome of my sessions.

I achieved the aim of understanding why I felt like I did what the underlying causes might be. My counselor was very skilled at breaking down what I was saying into understandable drinks and reflecting it back to me.

Suggested improvements
Nothing I had a very positive experience. The subject matter was extremely painful, but it was good to talk about it and feel better for it.
