Very short waiting time, which was great. A new nurse who didnt introduce herself. She only gave me part of the treatment and didnt listen to my request about the rest. Disappointed this time. Hospital needs a lot more disabled spaces.

The hospital was very clean my bed was changed daily. Staff were happy and friendly. Its was a fabulous experience. Food also very good.

I couldn't fault the treatment I received. Every member of the team was kind and treated me with the utmost courtesy. Thank you to everyone concerned in my care.

Suggested improvements
The only thing I could think which would have improved my care would have been more access to fresh fruit and vegetables - a salad with a main meal or berries with breakfast perhaps? I know there are cost implications, but I did miss this during my stay.

In my case, all the staff acted promptly, and very clear communication and provided all necessary treatments to recover. I was treated really well, I was happy with the services to be honest

Completed on behalf of my mother. Overall a very poor experience. Had to battle to speak to staff or medical teams. Ward Sister (Sarah) may wish to review her attitude. Staff need to involve family more with discharge planning. Very little information provided and person was sent home with very little equipment. The only team member who has was helpful was the physiotherapist.

A lot! Basic understanding and empathy. Understand family may be concerned especially when patient has dementia, therefore can not share what has been said. Ward Sister lacked empathy and was very uncaring

Other than a lengthy wait after my appointment time, (due to having one fewer doctor on duty), I found staff friendly and approachable, and I was able to understand test findings and discuss further steps. Thank you

We were not offered a buzzer when we arrived, even though reception staff were aware of the delay. We only knew this was an option when we overheard other patients being offered one. We therefore spent around an hour and a half in the waiting area when we could have gone elsewhere for refreshments.
