I would like to praise the Phlebotomists at King George Hospital for their excellent service.
I’ve been going for regular blood tests for about 10 months and I’ve always been very well cared for.
There’s always a smile, a story or something to put me at ease (although I shave no problems having blood taken).
I pray that there’s always enough staff to keep the work load light and a speedy service.
Bless all
Ps: The red chairs are the icing on the cake!
Because I didn’t felt I was treated accordingly, I came in with extreme pain unable to move my arm shoulder properly with pain in chest left to wait for near 11hrs . Even when I had at one point been called Togo get my obs done as I was waking the next thing I knew I was on the floor there was no sense in urgency or to find out why. One person had tried to help me up by lifting me from my bad shoulder which did not help the pain. I was told I would get a scan to then not get it. My arm put in a sling saying I would be referred to queens fracture clinic but as I had explain I had not had an accident or injury to this arm. Queen’s then phoned me and told me they would not see me due to having not sustained an injury
I have been treated excellently my consultant Dr Shachi Mishra was amazing she gave me information and listened throughout my care my surgery and aftercare I cannot fault. The staff at Erica ward were attentive and caring which enabled me to go home quickly. My surgery was neat and I recovered quickly I have today been discharged seven weeks post surgery and again Dr Shachi Mishra gave me time answered all my questions lovely lady. Total thanks to all involved in my care. Please note I had major abdominal surgery
I was treated like nobody. I arrived at E & A in the morning. Ambulance was called by my GP who was worried about my condition on that Tuesday morning. All E&A did was to take bottles of blood and did the CEG. In between hours a nurse will come to take my blood pressure. After 9 hours of wait without any attention of any doctor I decided to go home. I begged the nurses to let me go home since they feel nothing is wrong with me and my GP might have done a mistake by sending me to the emergency. They repeated another CEG and all they needed to do was sign and let me go. Still I had to wait another hour. At last I was given a form to sign myself off. I gave them a reason why I am leaving and left the.premises around 9pm. It was the worse day of my life.
The staff were exemplary. Excellent leadership by the ward matron Jeanette. Male nurse went out of his way to assist personally. Patient with the patients!
Not satisfied with nurses treatment specially day nurses. During my stay day nurses did treat me well from day 1 even before the operation. Less than 24 hours they force me to go to toilet even I was insisting I don't want to go, I am in pain but the nurse Batoole(if I remember the name correctly) cut my bandage and force me to get out of my bed even before the physio visist and advice. That all day I was in pain, hurt and emotionally break wheather I have done any mistake conducting this operation. When my children complains about the nurse the head Nurse came and try to defend and being so rude after wards. We feel discrimination few time as the head nurse won't let me close the curtains as if I want to take some sleep on the other end the other patients close their curtains when ever they want. Nurse Ibrahim and JoJo where kind and respectful as the food serving lady. At the day od discharge no physio came to assess my health and neither they provide us any feedback document as they did to other patients when they discharged from the treatment.
Happy with doctors treatment they were kind and respectful.
It was a fantastic experience!
From start to finish I was treated with the utmost care and attention from the lovely Oana to the actual anaesthesiologist who chatted away to calm my nerves I went to sleep knowing I had a dream team to look after me, and woke up surrounded by kind people that look after me until I was discharged. god bless our beloved NHS workers x
We spent 7 hours in A n E and it was ok
