From checking in at reception to being told I could go home. Everyone was so friendly and respectful. A pleasure to be seen by them all.
If I received information at all, it was always contradictory. Nurses couldn't tell me anything and doctors all said something else. I had to wait over 50 (!!) hours in A&E before I got moved to a ward.
I arrived on tues 19th at 6pm. I totally appreciate that a&e were very busy, but in the end i was left on a wheelchair in reception for just over 10hrs. They just kept giving me morphine. 10hrs wait for the first tests to be run. In the end i needed an emergency procedure in queens on my bowel- thank god it didn’t burst!
I would like to praise the Phlebotomists at King George Hospital for their excellent service.
I’ve been going for regular blood tests for about 10 months and I’ve always been very well cared for.
There’s always a smile, a story or something to put me at ease (although I shave no problems having blood taken).
I pray that there’s always enough staff to keep the work load light and a speedy service.
Bless all
Ps: The red chairs are the icing on the cake!
Nurses are very kind.
Been waiting over 12 hours no updates just felt in the corridor lying there for hours.
Kind, caring behaviour towards patients.
Because doctors and staff are amazing and helpful.
Very helpful and friendly staff which one supportive and hardworking. However the waiting times are too long.
