I had no wait and was treated promptly and with the utmost consideration by the paramedics and doctors at the hospital. After hearing so many horror stories about people's visits to A&E I was impressed. The doctor constantly kept me updated and the consultant was extremely kind.

I really don't know of anything. Unfortunately we are at our worst in these situations but was reassured.

Review of King George’s - Accident & Emergency,
23rd May 2023

I came to the urgent treatment centre at 7:30 PM, i did not leave until 8 AM the next day. The wait times are absolutely appaling and the communication between departments is poor. I waited 6 hours before i was seen. When i asked the gentleman on the counter, how many people are ahead of me, he was very rude and abrupt. Not how you want to speak with people who are not well. He had no compassion whatsoever. The Dr advised me to get a blood test done, he stated on the form to include my iron levels to be tested. When i went to give blood, they said they don’t check for iron, despite it being asked. I then got seen by another Dr, he noticed that Iron levels were requested so called the team responsible for the blood up. They said they don’t do Iron and if it was needed i must wait another 2 hours. This is not acceptable and really poor. Why was it not done as initially requested? The Dr then just said i need to see someone from ENT the following day. Upon seeing the ENT consultant, they said they have no idea why i was referred to them and should have maybe gone to community care. All in all, a very poor experience.

Everything. Wait times were ridiculous. Nobody was checking my forms properly as to what i actually needed to be checked in terms of blood.

Review of King George’s - Accident & Emergency,

There was very little communication. Was told by a nurse at 8am that the doctor will see me in 15 mins. It's been well over an hour and I have 3 people still in front of me. How is that even possible. I was told at early hours in the morning that I will be provide paracetamol which after 3+ hours I'm still waiting and The Urgent Care Unit saw me but because I'm in too much pain apparently to have a common infection that's why I was sent over to A&E. I am getting so angry because as per usual getting treated like I'm dirt. Some nurses attitude stinks and better sort themselves out. The doctors are no where to be seen. I'm still waiting after 8+ hours for pain killers and some antibiotics which should of been given to me by the urgent care unit. And then I'm getting sent back to urgent care unit because they couldn't be bother to help me yet another 5-⁶ hour wait for antibiotics that should of be prescribed already. May I add I got sent over with a cannula still in my hand and had the nurse having ago at both of us because A&E messed up.

Get some of your nurses to take customer service course because their attitude stinks.
