I waited for 23hours to see the mental health and to get bloods done even though they said they’d check me over I had a head injury and they didn’t do nothing about it

Not let me wait that long and to actually check the area that was hurting

I spent 20 hours in a wheelchair in King Georges Hospital A&E. I asked twice for some food, and none ever arrived. All I got was 2 cups of tea because a member of the public got them for me. One member of the Reception desk gave me her own snack after 16 hours. There were sick bowls left on the floor by patients and left for hours before cleaning staff cleared them.

You could of offered me food, water/ fluid as I was was waiting 20 hours, on my own! Other wheelchair patients were desperate for the toilet and couldn't access them without help.

Understandably A&E is always going to be chaotic but dealing with alcholics/addicts, mental issues and the elderly makes this area of medicine hard to ever be a good experience.

Better communication is always going to be the key because the patients are SCARED
