Because I was only there 2 Hours in the waiting room you had a TV what’s keep you occupied and a beautiful nurse come round with tea and coffee and the doctors and nurses are beautiful people
I am a diabetic and had to sit here for 16 hours before someone even looked at my wound, not one person could give me a straight answer as to what is going on. Instead i was faced with disrespect and attitude.
The doctor was very good but the staff did not act on her instructions when asked to so some of my treatment was delayed.
Appalling ammount of time to wait. I have Asthma and Bronchiectasis and was there because I was diagnosed on holiday in Turkey with Pneumonia. I informed staff of my illness but was told I had to wait because other people had to be seen. I understand that but one of the patients was laughing about her foot which was the reason for her being there. Was not happy about a failing service.
Whilst it was a long wait I did find treatment h the kindness of staff excellent - thank you for looking after me so well.
I went as I couldn't stand on my feet and feeling dizzy and sick I had to wait
Nine and half hours by the time I got to see the docter
The docter was brilliant spoke very nicely and did the treatment accordingly
But the triage staff was very rude as he didn't wana be at his job and he is doing everyone a favour blood samples lady very good spoke very nicely overall treatment was good but waiting Is ridiculous the system need to change
Not been to King georges a&e that often but more attendance recently after developing a long term disease. Anytime I have been there I've always felt looked after.and that staff hadnt forgotten about me while I waited for procedures to be completed. They consistently demonstrate their wealth of experience managing emergencies and ensure you understand why tests are being done and how they relate to your symptoms. They are a team to be proud of.
Ten hours from admittance to discharge- says it ALL!!!
Triage nurse was very condescending and made me feel very uncomfortable during the initial assessment. He took me through to resus without being told where I was going, told my relative to wait in a waiting room, again with now explanation.
I was left in a cubicle in resus with no pillow for 5 hours even though a nurse said that she would get me one.
No communication or reassurance from the nurses whatsoever and they wasn’t in least bit kind or caring like nurses should be.
I asked several times if my relative could be updated on my condition, yet this didn’t happen. My mum had to walk around the department asking several members of staff where I was and if I was ok before being told to knock on the resus door and ask them.
Good experience from start to finish
