Dr. Samanta was absolutely excellent. He took the time to explain my diagnosis, what the condition was and how it would affect me. He took me through treatment options in great detail and wrote a referral letter whilst I was there to agree to what was being said. The nurse (Anne) was kind and ensured I was relaxed and comfortable. The brief investigation I had was carried out with dignity and some humour which I liked.
The department was clean and looked nice. The toilets were immaculate and plentiful and, as someone with a chronic bowel condition, this is really important to me.
My experience was great and, apart from being seen about 10 minutes late even though I was the first patient of the session, I got plenty of time with the specialist and excellent care and respect.
