My 88 year old Dad attended Ophthalmology today for an eye operation and was treated with dignity and care - he is hard of hearing and has dementia and so I was concerned as due to covid I was not allowed in with him - however, a lovely nurse called Hyacinth took him under her wing and ensured that he was well looked after for as well as phoning me on a regular basis with updates and explaining his after care clearly. Dad can get stressed when he get confused but he was fine when I collected him and happy that he has been given coffee and biscuits as well as understanding what was going on. Nurses like Hyacinth are a credit to the NHS - thank you xx

Nothing - all was perfect.
