No I had to ask several times what was happening. It would’ve been helpful to know at one point when the drs were sleeping and that we wouldn’t be seen for another 5 hours. Instead of just leaving patients there without information. I left A&E after approximately 18 hrs and it impacted my mental health.
Suggested improvements
Most of the nurses made the experience bearable. They were friendly and compassionate especially since I was very anxious. The last dr who saw me seemed to be frustrated by my anxiety and sheer exhaustion after being at the hospital for over 15 hrs. Which did not help my elevated BP.
