I have so far only had one phone call and some leaflets sent out. I have been given contradicting advice on what physical activities I should be doing at this point in my recovery. This ranges from none to aiming for 1 or 2 miles by week 6. I do appreciate I have only a month since my operation was carried out (At St Bart's) so there may not be an expectation that I would have had much more contact.

Suggested improvements
It is difficult all round with the CV situation as things stand, so I do appreciate the service may not be to a high standard. However the most valuable information I have been able to glean has been from the British Heart Foundation website where one can chat with other people who have been through the same or similar. If it would normally be expected that the team would have held onsite group meetings for patients to talk then this really could have been replaced with an online chat forum of some description.
