Share review of King George Hospital
Appalling experience from receptionist to consultant. Nobody provided clarity on the process. I was left to assume what would happen next. The blood test nurse had no idea about when the results would come. The consultant was very cold and unfriendly. The whole visit took 10 hours!!! There seemed to be no urgency in the staff, much faffing about and very disjointed. The process could be much more efficient. I just needed antibiotics which could have taken less a few hours but I was there for 10 hours!!!
Everything! Receptionists need to explain the process to patients rather than be blank robots! Doctors & nurses need to be more joined up. Blood test results should be much faster. Overall all staff, including consultants need training in empathy!!!
