I gave the answers above because they were based on my experiences never the less I was gravely distressed at times about the open and loud manner in which some of your staff openly and regularly were disloyal and negatively discussed their manager and because they were careless and thoughtless about whether patients were hearing all that was being said. I wish to suggest that the trust addresses this unprofessional issue as matter of immense significance in the training of their staff and in your terms and conditions of engagement. Many thanks

Suggested improvements
You could include a line in your procedures about consequences of disloyalty by all staff and its impact particularly on elderly patients as confidence is important for the professional work done by so many of your staff. Just for the record I and my family found the Sister of the ward an example worthy of praise for her commitment and approach.
