I did not see a doctor.
When I was eventually referred for treatment all avenues of treatment were offered fairly quickly. Luckily the treatment was quite successful and has reduced my pain considerably. I was also given advise on how to stop the problem from returning & what to do if it does.
I was seen by Rohan today in the Physiotherapy Dept at KGH. He was excellent, kind, helpful and caring. If it is possible I would love to have him deal with my other physiotherapy sessions for weight bearing exercises, that Dr Daniels has recommended I have, as I will not be having the Calcium injections due to extremely bad reactions I have to nearly all injections. I highly recommend Rohan as a physiotherapist. A Very happy patient.
I could not have asked for better care, all the staff were fantastic, caring, and very informative and empathetic nothing was too much trouble. Best NHS experience ever Thank you
The whole process was excellent from start to finish. Admission when smooth and I was shown to my bed, saw lots of people checking and double checking that I was the correct person for the correct procedure. Everyone friendly and professional, calm and relaxed which helped to keep me relaxed.
The procedure went well, when I woke up I had no pain and was comfortable. The move to my ward went smoothly and my nurses could not have been better. They looked after me so well that I felt more like having a relaxing break than recovery. I can't relay how nice they all were across both shifts other than, just excellent, friendly and supportive. The catering team, the porters, housekeeping all added to it. Just to mention a few, Andrea, Mary-Ann, Patricia, Mark and Debbie Harry lookalike, you know who you are are the names I remember and I'm not good at remembering names. So many wonderful people, I was very fortunate with my care. A massive thanks to you all.
everything went smoothly, all staff were professional and friendly, and kept me informed and also followed up with extra calls to my personal phone to keep on top of the assessment which allowed my procedure to proceed.
AE Dr wanted to discharge me the ward consultant said no due to the nature of my problem it seemed all the AE Dr was concerned with was freeing the bed not my diagnosis. What would have happened if I was sent home. I am now under the specialist at Queens hospital.
I would like to give a big shout out to Tony Bishi and sister Anna in Ash Ward - King George’s Hospital, Tony was absolutely amazing. I felt that he took pride in looking after his patients. My brother was not eating last week but he made every effort and encouraged him to eat.
I was happy to change and wash my brother after he had opened his bowels but he took care of everything. He made feel that I can leave my brother on the ward and not feel that he will be ignored.
Thank you Tony for the great care
I was very pleased with my care and treatment by the doctors and nurses. I was given a great deal of information prior to the surgery especially about the consent form. I was made to feel comfortable and assured even though I was nervous and apprehensive about my operation.
The nurses were very friendly and kept us up to date on the schedule.
The nurses and other staff were too busy to talk or explain anything.
The doctor explained us everything and was very patient with us
