Left waiting for long periods between being seen for triage to doctor to consultant. After the consultant said no new for scan, just have pain killers and can go, I had to wait over an hour before someone came to give me pain killers, then another hour and a half before I asked having become impatient and asked the clinical team to remove my cannula so I could actually leave. No prescription for pain killers provided.
All staff was professional
The only problem I had was I knew more needed to be done to the problem with my knee. Previously, the hospital would have dealt with it as an impatient and I wouldn’t have gone back home in the same amount of pain as when I came in. The usual procedures were taken and I’m grateful for them stopping my sickness and getting my blood pressure back to normal. But I’m still hopping on one leg and in a lot of pain.
I received immediate treatment which was fantastic. I’m truly grateful for that.
King George’s hospital is the best by staff, cleaning and everything.i am still in hospital but in royal London Whitechapel hospital as I am transferred from king George’s believe me staff crew food every thing is rubbish in here.
I had great experience
Majority of nurses very thoughtful, although after using buzzer multiple times in Majors I was ignored. I was left on commode and forgotten about, which was distressing.
Two nurses were very kind though, and helped me greatly. They gave me a thorough wash and helped me lots.
I felt that my treatment was excellant. The staff were very attentive all the time. They also treated my wife with the same dignity as I am deaf so needed her with me to communicate.
Happy with everything apart from initial wait to be seen
My mum has alzheimers and from the time we arrived in the ambulance they were brillant with her.
Never left her side.
The doctors and nurses were very kind.
They communicated with us about every step they were doing.
I had the treatment made me feel better
