Clark ward is a very busy excellent well run department. The staff are very busy but make time for each patient. We all arrive nervous and maybe even frightened but everyone and I mean everyone makes the time to help and relax you prior to operations and treatment Each time you meet a member of staff you feel they are in part of a team nothing seems too much trouble. I appreciate that not everyone works directly for the nhs but they seem to understand they have a role to play I cannot speak too highly of the staff at Clark ward. I hope that politicians, who I would not let run me a bath let lone my nhs, let dedicated people like I have met get on with theirs jobs .andletheir care and treatment of people like they have

I was a day patient in Clarke ward for a prostrate biopsy and was so impressed with the smooth, efficient, and pleasant way in which my short stay was organised. Everybody from booking in, to the nurses, to all of the theatre staff were extremely professional, friendly and helpful, and did everything they could to explain what was going to happen and to answer my questions. The day ward was bright and cheerful, extremely clean and well maintained. All in all I had a very pleasant experience in Clarke ward. A big thank you to everyone.

ALL Staff are very friendly, and approachable. From Dr's and Nurses to caterers and cleaners. Dr's talk in plain english rather than industry jargon, which as a patient, made it easy to understand what was happening and what the processes were. I was fortunate to be in a side room so had access to my own television. I do feel that the whole ward needs personal tv's and access to Hospital Wifi, as I spent a lot of money using an internet dongle to connect to the outside world. The food was amazing, and the menu offered a massive choice for all different kinds of tastes.

The staff are wonderful especially Vanessa and Megan. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The doctors were great as well and always a friendly face . They were helpful with their any questions I asked. Even the meal trolley was good. Despite the necessity of being here the experience was a good one and I felt confident with the knowledge of all of the staff and the care they gave.

Very good atmosphere, all staff and nurses were happy, the ward clean with excellent attention from everyone.Care could not have been better.Even music in Bay 2 provided by specialist nurse George.Very relaxing. My consultant Mr. Thomas is excellent in every way. I would certainly recommend CANTERBURY HOSPITAL and Clarke ward . I found the food to be very good too.

The attention from staff, of all types, and the consideration given to me was exemplary. It was noted that frequent cleaning was executed during my essentially overnight stay (robotic radical prostate surgery). The Ward was a key but not the sole part of this process. Consultation with Mr E Streeter was very helpful and clear given the complexity of the surgery involved. Of particular value was the orientation session given to a large group of patients and their partners. The specialist prostate nurses gave a very useful presentation of process and what was to be expected at time of surgery and also post surgery . This was so important in preparing me for my visit to Clark Ward. The process was also aided by the access to specialist prostate nurses. Please pass-on these comments to all relevant sections of the organisation.

The nursing staff are the greatest asset. At no time wa sI in any doubt that I was receiving excellent treatment. A simple improvement to make referring to nursing staff easier would be the addition of staff names on uniforms. This would perhaps give a more personal 'feel' to the care given.

No complaints at all. The care and service received throughout my two recent stays has been excellent. As well as the medical staff, this also includes the cleaners and caterers who came round every day.
