Although under a consultant in PCH, I had my hip replacement at Hinchingbrooke Hospital. The staff were all wonderful and made every effort to make sure i was comfortable and not in any pain. Nothing was too much trouble for them. I would happily go back if the need arises.

Fracture Clinic receptionists were exceptionally rude, aggressive, and unhelpful. Policies meant that although I was looking for continuing care, they would not accept a referral and I had to present at A&E and pretend to be an urgent care patient to get into the system. This wasted about 4 hours of my time, and wasted the time of nurses, doctors, and consultants when my treatment need was clear-cut and did not require any A&E treatment. Hospital generally disorganized and unclean.

I had need to visit A & E on Sunday 1st May in the afternoon. I was treated with the utmost respect and consideration. All the staff were understandably busy but were kind and approachable. I would like to give a special mention and a very big thank you to Dr. Shayan Lihony who was very thorough, empathetic, and reassuring, given the of level anxiety I was experiencing due to the health issue I presented with. I could not fault the service I received and would highly recommend

I had an ultrasound and the person was more interested in the fact that I was 5 minutes late (due to traffic). He was rude, unhelpful and worst of all, sent an inaccurate report to my physiotherapist stating that my scan was 'normal yet, whilst being examined, he told me I had a rotator cuff tear. I asked if he could look at a solid mass that had formed on my upper arm and he scimmed over my arm and said it was "just fat". Totally disgusted

I came to A&E Sunday night with stomach pain, and had my appendix removed Monday night. Everyone I saw was caring, professional and kind. My last visit to hinchingbrooke was with a very traumatic delivery of my daughter two years ago, so I was very nervous about going into theatre again. Lots of time was taken to explain, reassure and comfort me. I especially loved how they all still made me laugh even through the nerves! Being on my own because of Coronavirus was rubbish, but I still felt as though the people around me cared. Thank you! Special thanks also to the staff in the ultrasound department who spotted my infected appendix, which apparently is really tricky! They were so professional and informative, even under the pressure of being busy. Great work hinchingbrooke!

Monday 15th March 2021. I was cared for on the day surgery unit. On arrival I was very very distressed and the nurse looking after me calmed me down by having a laugh with me and making me comfortable. The staff looking after me was Amy, Katherine and Lesley, I cannot thank them for the support and care they gave me whilst I was here for a long period of the day... They are a big credit to the daisy ward. They made everything so much easier for me.

Overall, the quality of care was excellent, treated with exceptional care, consideration and respect. The majority of staff; doctors, nurses, operating assistants etc were informative, helpful, courteous and kind. One member of staff was rather brusque and dismissive during the pre operative assessment.
